At age 16 our boys have plenty of options available to them for the next stage of their education. Local Grammar Schools have many spaces that become available at sixth form level and the local Sixth Form colleges all have very good reputations. Therefore the needs of boys who want strongly academic sixth form courses or more vocational courses can be met from the provision of the state system. In a typical year about 65-70% of our 16+ leavers move into a state Grammar School
Additionally, all the local Independent day schools and the majority of boarding schools are more than pleased to admit boys into their sixth forms. Although there are no firm plans on the table at the moment, there are a number of development opportunities in the local area which might allow us to provide our own sixth form provision at some point in the future.
In addition to the local Grammar Schools listed above our 16+ leavers have moved to the following settings in recent years.
- Wellington College
- Berkhamsted School
- Chalfonts Community College
- Licensed Victuallers' School
- Amersham College
- Henley College
- Hemel Hempstead School
- Direct Employment
